Marie has been an artist for 17 years, working in watercolour, acrylic and collage/mixed media. Her images usually start with colour, texture and abstraction and are transformed into her “take” on reality. She is inspired by nature and those out of the way places that touch her emotionally. She often paints in series with images and themes repeating as one interpretation leads to another and another.
